The Admirals Cove Cares Charitable Foundation:

Established in 2004 The Admirals Cove Cares Charitable Foundation is an absolutly magnificent not for profit organization that is committed to giving back and strengthening its community. This foundation is proud to assisting worthy cultural, social, civic, educational, and health care related non-profit organizations in the Palm Beach County area.

The Foundations Charity Weekend raised donations of over $730,000 combined in 2005 and 2007. Currently the foundation has awarded over $1,000,000 to worthy charities of Jupiter, Palm Beach County and throughout Florida. During their 2009 biennial charity weekend the foundation raised over $350,000, some of the great charities and organizations that benefited from grants included the hospice of Palm Beach, MacArthur Beach State Park, the Jupiter Hospital, Adopt a Family, Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary and Hospital, the Loxahatchee River Historical Society, and many others.

The Admiral Cove Cares Charitable Foundations 2011 Event – This past year the foundation hosted an event to distribute around $400,000 in donations to 32 needy local charities. Some of the great charities included the Adopt A Family, the Stand Down House for Veterans, Wounded Warriors, the Center for Family Services, the Cancer Alliance, the Hospice of Palm Beach, the Jupiter Medical Center, Jupiter High School scholarships, the Special Olympics of Palm Beach, the Literacy Coalition, the West Jupiter Tutorial, the Busch Wildlife, the Eissey Theatre, the Jupiter Maltz Theatre, the American Cancer ROCK Program, the Academy for Practical Nurses, and numerous other great charities.

Every two years the foundation raises money with a huge charity extravaganza weekend. During the 2011 charity weekend had more than 615 residents and their families enjoy a variety of fabulous events that consisted of a golf tournament, tennis tournament, croquet tournament, a walk, kid’s events, boat tour, a casino night with Texas hold’em, and a fantastic closing BBQ.
